Millcroft support The Joshua Foundation

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Millcroft are proud to continue their support of The Joshua Foundation, who pioneer leadership training, education, and development projects in Tanzania, bringing hope to the countries of Eastern and Central Africa.

To date the foundation have built: a bridge over the local river in Arusha, constructed from scaffolding donated from the refurbishment of St Pancras Station, 3 classrooms for pre-school age children and 2 teacher’s houses.

The latest building project is a new school across the river which includes 2 classrooms, toilets and a teacher’s room. The school was opened at the end Jan 2014 – a little late for their new school year!

The project continues, with the aim of building a further four teaching blocks to cater for a total of around 400 pupils.
